In the Medicine and Sciences Library large parts of the collections are accessible directly in the open access area. A smaller part is stored in the library stacks and must therefore be requested ahead. All locations are indicated in the library's online catalog.
Open Access Areas and Textbook Collection
In these areas items are displayed systematically by subject. You can collect them directly from the respective shelf. Items marked with a red dot are non-circulating.
Closed Stacks
The closed stacks are not accessible. All items displayed in the catalog as 'closed stack' have to be requested. Items of the circulating collection can be collected from the self-service shelves on ground floor. Items of the non-circulating collection, journals and books published before 1920, can be collected at the service desk on ground floor.
