The Open Science Office at the University Library offers a set of services to support the researchers of Leipzig University, focussing on open access and research date. It works closely with other University Institutions, such as the Research and Transfer Service.

The Open Access Office is offering the following services:
- financial support by Open Access Publishing Fund and Publishing Fund PLUS
- publishing service for monographs, reports, articles (self-archiving) on our repository
- individual and subject specific information events and counseling about open access publishing
