Children are welcome at the UBL. There is a Family Study Room at four UBL branches where parents can work and study alongside their children (Bibliotheca Albertina, Campus Library, Medicine/Natural Sciences Library, Education and Sports Science Library).
The rooms vary in size and are also equipped differently: study desk with a PC, toys, playpens and bottle warmers are available. Baby changing facilities are available in the sanitary rooms of the respective library.
As long as a room is not occupied, it can be used freely. So you can visit us spontaneously and contact the staff at the service desk or the security guard to get the key.
If you need planning security, simply register online in advance.
We are also very happy to assist you with the compilation and provision of literature. Simply send us an e-mail with the titles you would like to request to info@ub.uni-leipzig.de. We will then compile the selection for you and make the media available for pick up at a branch of your choice.
