The University Computing Center (URZ) has announced maintenance work on the university's VPN dial-in on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 8 am to probably 8:15 am. There will be a temporary interruption of all active VPN connections. You will then be able to access dial-in as usual, but you will be prompted to select one of two VPN profiles.
For full access to the media and databases licensed by UBL, the profile "2-Spezial-Alles" is required. Please use the profile only if you really need these services to avoid unnecessary data volume for the university's network.
The profile selection is saved when you log in and can be changed by you if necessary. The IP address associated with your university login remains unchanged. No installation of additional software is necessary. If you receive an error message when connecting via VPN, we recommend restarting the device.
