Branches reopen for borrowing and returns
From Monday, 11 January 2021, the University Library will open its branches (except DLL) for borrowing and returning items. Opening hours for all apply from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm. Please note the separate regulations for the Law Library.
The number of patrons in the buildings is limited to the size of the branches accordingly. After successful check-in on site, only short stays for lending and returning are allowed. Scanning and copying for a short while can be carried out.
Reservation of items will also be possible again from 11 January, automatic renewal will continue (except for reserved items) initially. Interlibrary loans will also restart. Please note that the processing of interlibrary loans is of course also dependent on the delivery conditions of the lending libraries. Items for reading room use can still not be ordered. If you have an urgent need, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to find a solution.
Seat reservations and longer stays in the branches are not possible until further notice. From an incidence value of <50, the crisis team of Leipzig University will advise on working on site and the possibility of seat booking.
The hygiene concept of Leipzig University Library applies.
