We are currently in the process of changing the terms of use for the individual work places (carrels) on the 1st floor eastern wing. In future, these spaces will no longer be bookable but will be freely available. We hope that this will improve availability for more users.
During the transition phase, all booking periods and reservations for the carrels will of course still be taken into account, but no new reservations will be accepted.
If there are no current bookings or reservations for a carrel, it can be used freely.
The doors will remain open and if a space is available, you can simply use it for the duration of your stay. However, keys for cupboards and doors will no longer be issued.
